Attic Cleanouts across Rhode Island & Southern MA

Pull-down ladders, knee-walls, blown-in insulation. We get into the spaces other crews skip.

Attics are the last place anyone wants to crawl. They're hot in summer, freezing in winter, dusty year-round, and the ladder situation is rarely friendly to a big sectional or a 60-year-old steamer trunk.

We bring drop cloths to protect the floor below the hatch, gloves and masks for the dust, and a methodical system for getting big items down narrow openings. Pull-down ladders, dormer attics, walk-up attics with hard turns — we've worked all of them.

What's included

  • Tarping the floor and stairs below the attic hatch
  • Dust masks and gloves for the crew
  • Careful navigation of low-clearance and pitched ceilings
  • Sweep-up of the area below after the dust settles

Items / scope we handle

  • Old trunks, suitcases, and boxes
  • Furniture stored in dormers or knee-walls
  • Old toys, books, and holiday decor
  • Insulation that needs to come out (loose-fill or batts)
  • Dead electronics and cables
  • Bird, squirrel, or rodent debris (within reason — call first)
  • Anything that got moved up there in 1974 and never moved again

When this service makes sense

  • Selling a home and the inspector flagged the attic contents
  • Estate cleanout where four generations stored stuff up there
  • Insulation upgrade — old material needs to be cleared first
  • Pest remediation prep — clearing space for an exterminator

  • Yes, for non-hazardous materials like fiberglass and cellulose. We use HEPA vacuums and bag the material for disposal. If the insulation has any indication of asbestos, we stop and route you to an abatement contractor.
