Mattresses are one of the worst things to deal with on your own. They're floppy, they don't fit in most cars, donation centers won't take them, and a lot of towns charge extra fees to put them out at the curb.
We do mattress pickup all day, every day. Single twin in a kid's room, a king and box spring out of a primary bedroom, or twenty bunk mattresses from a beach house turn-over — same crew, same process. We wrap them for the truck so nothing trails out behind us, and we recycle them at certified facilities when we can.
