Hot tubs are one of the hardest residential items to remove. They're built to last, made of fiberglass and high-density foam, and they weigh 600–1,000 pounds dry. Most can't be tipped on edge to slide through a gate. Almost none fit in a normal truck or trailer.
We cut hot tubs down into manageable pieces, on-site, with a reciprocating saw — the same approach used by most pool and spa pros. The whole job is usually done in 2–4 hours, including drain, disconnect, cut-down, haul, and a swept slab.

- Drain to a safe yard area (we coordinate the route)
- Electrical disconnect at the disconnect box (cap left for an electrician)
- Cut-down using purpose-built blades
- Removal of cover, lifter, and steps
- Sweep-up of the slab or deck
- Disposal at appropriate transfer facility

Frequently asked: hot tub removal
- For a properly wired tub, the disconnect box on the wall lets us safely cut power before we touch wiring. If the install was unusual (hardwired into a sub-panel, no disconnect, etc.), we may recommend a licensed electrician for that step. We'll tell you on the quote.
